Week 11...

We are sorry for the absence in picture posting. Our intentions are good... Paul just posted some pics from week 10 and the following are week 11 pics. Witt turned 15 weeks this past Friday. Everyone with kids says this, but we cannot believe how quickly these 15 weeks have gone. He is a lovely little guy. Paul said last night that he loves him so much it hurts. Last week a neighbor with two kids said that life is so much richer with kids, but it would be so much less painful without them. How true. My heart is so full and overflowing with love for our son but it is simultaneously breaking because I know that there is so much in this ugly world that will hurt his precious heart! We will do our best raising him to be confident in the knowledge of our Heavenly father's love for him and ours.

Our "adopted" mom Jackie's sweet granddaughters came to vist Witt one afternoon. The love was mutual!

Witt found his thumb around 10 weeks and has been an awesome sleeper since. Although he still only naps on one of us in his Moby wrap. We are working on this.

The outfit Witt is wearing was made by Paul's late grandmother for Paul circa 1973.

He loves his "stim" mobile. It is great. Paul's sister Sarah put us on to this. It has a simple European design, neat images with no noise or flashing lights. Perfect.

Witt taking his first bottle. A friend gave me the Medela double pump which is awesome, and he will gladly take a bottle which we are so thankful for.

Safari baby. He is so long!
