My boys enjoying a gorgeous day on the National Seashore. We drove up one day last month. Paul wanted to share this beautiful place with me. He had promised me that there were some beaches in New England that actually have more than two inches of sand to walk on. :) The N.S. is known for its incredible sand dunes which we had no great shots to share. They stretch between 50-75 feet.
The waves were fantastic and the surfers had quite a gathering of spectators.
The two pictures above were taken on a recent hike to a place called Destruction Brook. It's about five miles from our house. There are lots of great trails, and of course ticks too.
This picture is of Paul's sister Sarah, her husband Curtis, and nephew Charlie who turns 1 on November 28th. They came for a visit in July from Arkansas and we had a great time with them. Charlie is going to become a big brother in May. Sarah is due just four days after me. How fun is that?
This picture was taken last winter in Connecticut. Paul was trying out a new pair of cross country skis that a sweet friend gave to him. He also gave me a pair as well. We hope to be able to use them here. It is not likely that we will get the same amount of snow here that we did in CT, living on the water. But, we could certainly get dumped on a few times which would be great!

I see you have discovered Destruction Brook Woods....one of my favorite spots for nature walks! I grew up in a subdivision right around the corner from the land....way before the trails were put in. Who knows, maybe we'll bump into one another on a nice day. Hope all is well with Lauren's pregnancy...I will continue to pray for a healthy baby! Hope you had a wonderful time in Israel. Please tell Scotch I was asking for him.
